Lending a hand…

We are proud supporters of the Marin County School Vounteers program. The program provides critical support to students that need some additional one on one support along with providing much needed help in support to our local educators. The sole purpose of this program is to help every child succeed by providing them with the support they need.

Urban also made donations to organizations such as The Boy Scouts of America, Kentfield School Foundation,  Kids Healing Kids , The ALS Association,  Lake County Fire Victims Fund  and many other local and national charitable organizations.

The Marin County School Volunteer program was started in 1997 and began with 40 volunteers in five schools. Now the program has grown to over 300 adult volunteers and 50 student volunteers in over 45 different schools, homework centers and community programs. Though this program has grown drastically, the demand for volunteers grows even faster. We would like to bring as much attention to this program as possible and if you would like to volunteer please visit their website at www.mcsv.org or email them at mcsv@marinschools.org.
